Accessible audio controls for React: knobs, faders, XY pads, meters, waveforms, timelines, sequencers and piano rolls, on headless primitives from @audio-ui/react.
Newest first
audio/ui is a React library for building the interfaces of audio software. It comes in two layers: headless, accessible primitives published on npm as @audio-ui/react, and styled shadcn/ui components and blocks installed from the @audio-ui registry. The pieces run from knobs, faders, XY pads and envelopes to piano keyboards, meters, waveforms, spectrum analyzers and tuners, up to workstation parts like an arrangement timeline, piano roll, sequencer, transport and mixer.
Its blocks are complete effect and instrument devices: compressors, limiters, gates, EQs, filters, delay, reverb, chorus, saturation and a pocket synth. The primitives expose their state as data attributes and live values as CSS variables, so plain CSS can style them. It needs React 19 and Tailwind CSS v4, and ships an Agent Skill and MCP server for coding agents. It's built by Cécé Lucien Loua at Ouest Labs.
