EvilCharts is an open-source library of animated chart components for shadcn/ui, built by Gurbinder, a design engineer at Axiom. Every chart ships twice, on Recharts and on Apache ECharts, behind the same compound API, so switching engines is a rename and you only install the one you pick. Chart types include area, bar, line, composed, pie, radar, radial and Sankey, with gradients, patterns, glow effects and reveal animations, plus parts like legends, tooltips, dots, a zoom brush and patterned backgrounds.

The Recharts versions render to SVG and theme through per-chart CSS variables, so light and dark switch without a re-render, while the ECharts versions draw to canvas for larger data sets. The blocks listed here are finished chart cards, such as a revenue mix, payouts, cache tiers and an allocation flow. Everything is free and installs with the shadcn CLI.
